But how should this work in the new world full of home offices?
We should more actively plan for timely breaks and ideally have our rituals in the morning and evening: Do I wear different ‘job clothes’? Is my alarm bell set for lunch break? Have I put my work stuff out of sight at the end of the day?
Your colleagues should know about your preferences and way of home office work! Tell them at which time you can be reached best.
And regulate your emotions by for instance thinking about joyful events when being in trouble. Targeted relaxations are another important step: You have everything you need at your fingertips and could for example listen to your favorite music without being observed!
Being able to work in harmony with your own biorhythm without losing sight of your career goals sounds really appealing, doesn’t it ?! – stay healthy and confident … 🙂
