You know the series of personality test which should be taken with a grain of salt. However, it does make sense to take into account the different personalities of your team members when it comes to video calls.
An example from my coaching practice: A client struggled with the efficiency of his video calls as he had basically 4 different personalities in his team – from introverted to extroverted and from result- to emotion-driven.
The “solution“ to his problem was rather simple: A short “social warm up“ at the beginning of the call made the relationship type happy, provided room for the entertainer and did not bore too much the accountant and inspector.
So why don’t you start your next video call by for instance asking what your team member cooked at home in light of closed restaurants – stay healthy and confident … 🙂
