Guess: How much time spend managers in meetings? The answer is amazing: 60%, and even 90% for top managers*. And roughly half of them consider their meetings as inefficient so that they check their emails or gossip about colleagues during such online meetings.

But how can you make your meetings more efficient? Well, the recipe has the following 5 ingredients:

  1. Think first: Do you need the meeting at all? 
  2. If yes, then who should attend for how long?
  3. Do you have an agenda with smart goals, responsibilities and follow-ups?
  4. Do you start your meetings with positive comments and do you actively moderate them?
  5. Do you end your meetings on time and ask for feedback?

Researchers found out that the optimal meeting length is 48 minutes – but the simple rule is just „the shorter, the better“. Avoiding comfortable chairs is helpful – stay healthy and confident … 🙂
